Nadir Hayat Tiwana

Zonal Director – Punjab

Mr Nadir belongs to the historically rich and most populous province of Punjab, hailing from Mitha Tiwana, District Khushab. He is among the most senior, respected, and dedicated members of The Serenity Family (TSF), with an unwavering commitment to humanitarian service spanning nearly 28 years (since 1998).
Driven by compassion and a deep sense of social responsibility, Mr Tiwana has devoted his life to the welfare, relief, and rehabilitation of deprived prisoners, particularly women and innocent children living behind bars. His work focuses on restoring dignity to those forgotten by society, reminding them that they are still a valued part of the human community.
Under his leadership, TSF’s Roshan Afia Prisoner Relief & Release Project has become a beacon of hope. Through this initiative, TSF provides free legal aid, assists in payment of fines for deserving prisoners, and ensures access to necessities including fans, water coolers, clothing, food items, bedding, books, and copies of the Holy Qur’an, especially for female prisoners with children.
Mr Tiwana has also played a vital role in capacity-building and sensitisation programs for jail staff, advocating humane treatment and reform-oriented approaches within the prison system. His long-standing mission has been carried out in collaboration with renowned human rights platforms, including the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), Pearl Reforms International, and the late, legendary human rights icon Ms Asma Jahangir.
Currently, Mr Nadir Hayat Tiwana is actively supervising and implementing TSF prison welfare initiatives across six major jails in Punjab:
Multan
Vehari
Sargodha
Shahpur
Kasur
Okara
Mr and Mrs Nadir Hayat is a frequent visitor of the Jails from the Government of Pakistan.
In recognition of his impactful work, Samaa TV conducted a dedicated program on the TSF Prisoner Relief & Release Project, highlighting TSF’s efforts in skill development for male and female prisoners, enabling them to earn a dignified livelihood and reintegrate honourably into society after release.
Mr Nadir Hayat’s tireless service reflects the core values of The Serenity Family- mercy, justice, rehabilitation, and sustainable human development. His leadership continues to transform lives, strengthen communities, and uphold the belief that every human being deserves a second chance.
